Fine Cheese Basket

Cheese baskets were traditionally designed to be lined with cheese cloth and used while processing cheese to separate the curds from the whey; acting much like today’s colander. Artist Alice Ogden has woven this black ash basket as a decorative item that should be displayed as wall décor, or around your home.

Materials: black ash and white oak

• Dust often with a feather duster or soft brush
• To preserve the natural colors and stop fading do not place in direct sunlight.
• Avoid water as natural splints expand when wet.
